Nature School provides children with the opportunity to learn about and from the natural world. This environment helps foster a deep connection with nature. Activities are guided by the children’s interest and curioustiy encouraging exploration creativity and independent learning. Through Nature School we aim to support the overall development of children including their physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth.
We have a fabulous Nature School area on our school field although we would love to get back to using the site we set up at Parke, National Trust. In order to do this we need some willing volunteers who would be able to attend every week and take equipment up to Parke and set up the activities.
